Account Deletion

Last updated: 2026-08-11

Pix Planner can be used locally without signing in, and it also offers optional accounts through Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple. This page explains the difference between starting fresh locally, removing local app data, and permanently deleting a signed-in Pix Planner account.

Choose the action you intend

Start Fresh is not account deletion. Start Fresh signs you out and creates a fresh local Pix Planner experience on that device. Your existing Pix Planner account and cloud data remain intact, and you may sign back in later to restore that account.

Removing local app data is not account deletion. Signed-out planner information can exist only on your device. Clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes device-local app information subject to platform storage and backup behavior, but does not request deletion of an existing signed-in account or its cloud data.

Delete Account is permanent. Delete Account is the destructive operation that removes your Pix Planner authentication account and associated active account and cloud data through Pix Planner's deletion process.

Delete your account inside Pix Planner

If you are signed in and can access the app:

  1. Open Pix Planner and select Profile.
  2. Tap Backup & Account.
  3. Scroll to Danger Zone.
  4. Tap Delete Account.
  5. Review the confirmation and tap Delete My Account.
  6. Complete Google or Apple reauthentication if requested.

Reauthentication confirms that the request comes from the account owner. Cancelling the confirmation or reauthentication stops the request before server deletion. The in-app process then performs deletion in stages. If it cannot complete, the app reports that the deletion was not completed so you can try again. If the account was deleted but this device could not finish local cleanup, the app provides a Retry Cleanup action.

Request deletion without the app

You do not need to reinstall Pix Planner to request deletion. If you have already uninstalled the app, cannot sign in, or otherwise cannot use the in-app flow, send an account-deletion request to Pix Planner Support:

Request Account Deletion

Email: support@pixplanner.app

If possible, write from the email address associated with your Pix Planner account and state whether you used Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple. Pix Planner may ask for enough additional information to verify account ownership before processing the request.

Do not send passwords, authentication tokens, Apple or Google passwords, payment-card information, or other secrets. No fixed completion time is promised for an external request. Support may contact you if verification or another action is needed.

What gets deleted

Pix Planner's deletion process removes the Firebase Authentication account and the active Pix Planner account-data tree. Depending on the features used, that active data includes:

Deletion is intended to be permanent and cannot be used as a temporary account deactivation.

Limited records that may be retained

Deleting an account does not mean that every record disappears from every system. Pix Planner may retain limited records where needed for transaction integrity, fraud or duplicate-reward prevention, security, financial recordkeeping, accounting, legal obligations, or service operations. In particular:

We do not claim that retained records are mathematically anonymous or can never be related to other information. See the Pix Planner Privacy Policy for the broader retention and service-provider disclosures.

Local data on your device

After server deletion succeeds, the app signs out and attempts to reset account- linked gameplay state, planner content, account ownership and restore state, and local notification schedules. Scheduled Pix Planner notifications are cancelled as part of that cleanup.

Some device-level preferences, technical state, or cache information may remain. Clearing Pix Planner's app data or uninstalling the app removes device-local app data subject to the operating system's storage, backup, and restore behavior. Removing local app data alone does not delete a Pix Planner account or its cloud data.

Apple, Google, and purchases

Deleting your Pix Planner account does not refund App Store or Google Play purchases, delete Apple or Google transaction history, or delete your Apple ID or Google account. Apple, Google, app stores, and identity providers control their own records under their policies. For a refund request, use the process offered by the store through which the purchase was made; Pix Planner does not promise a particular refund result or timeline.
